Senior Management Team

Mr. Shakil Ahmed – Director Commercial & International Business – Division A

He has joined AGP as Director Marketing and Sales in July 2016. A business graduate by qualification & a highly decorated marketer with over 20 years of experience.


He owns a proven record of handling diversified portfolios with great success ranging from branded generic Pharmaceuticals to medical devices. Owing to strong marketing and sales background, he has not only blazed his own trail to success in Pakistan but also in International markets.

Ahmed Iqbal – Director Commercial – Division B

He has joined AGP as Director Commercial in July 2020. An MBA from IBA, with over 25 years work experience with leading companies including Upjohn, Colgate Palmolive, National Foods, Abbott and Sanofi.

He has a diverse background of managing Marketing, Trade, Consumer Insights and Sales team in both FMCG as well as Pharmaceutical sectors.


Prior to joining AGP, he was associate with Sanofi as General Manager Consumer Healthcare Business. He brings with him proven track record of successfully leading business in both FMCG and Pharma sectors from household categories like toothpaste to patient centric medicines for multiple diseases.

Mr. Muhammad Athar Mughal (Director Marketing & Sales Division-B)


Mr. Athar Mughal has joined AGP in May 2019. He has over 26 years of experience of working in Pakistan and international pharmaceutical markets. In his previous organizations, other than Pakistan, he successfully managed operations in some of South East Asian and African countries. His areas of expertise are exceptional leadership, relationship skills across all levels of staff, Innovative marketing strategies, sales administration and sales training.

Mr. Tauqir Ahmed – Director Technical Operations

He has done his B. Pharmacy from the University of Karachi. He has been associated with the Company for the past 17 years in the core area of manufacturing operations.


He also has experience of working at Parke Davis ( Pfizer ) , Aventis, Getz  and Hilton. His total experience is approx 34 years.

Mr. Junaid Jumani – Director Human Resources & Administration

Mr. Junaid Jumani is richly experience and brightly qualified HR professional, who has some of the most prestigious and most sought after HR certifications globally (SHRM & GDIB), to his credit. A business & law graduate by qualification, he has a prolific 18 years’ plus experience in diverse organizations, mastering various HRM functions, like Organization Development, Talent, Performance & Compensation Management and Succession Planning.


He is associated with AGP for over 10 years, and has served as a change catalyst in bringing positive transformation in AGP corridors.

Mr. Abdul Sattar – Head of Information Solutions

He has been with AGP for over 7 years and brings with him experience of over two decades of handling ERPs and related software/hardware. Prior to AGP he has worked for Dadex Eternit and Merck Pakistan.


He has brought effective and efficient changes in the IS set-up and has managed to run systems with minimum outages.

Mr. Junaid Aslam – Chief Financial Officer

He is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan with over 11 years of experience in Finance and Audit. He has been with AGP for over 4 years.


Prior to AGP he has worked at Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority and Two of the Big Four Chartered Accountant Firms in Pakistan.

Mr. Umair Mukhtar – Head of Business Planning & Corporate Affairs and Company Secretary

An Associate Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan having experience of over a decade in the fields of finance and audit.


He started his professional journey with A. F. Ferguson & Co. (a member firm of the PwC network) an auditor. He then moved to Atlas Honda Limited where he was looking after the areas of taxation, compliance and secretarial affairs. He has also worked with Engro Corporation as corporate advisor for listed and public companies of Engro Group.

Ms. Seema Zohra – Head of Quality Operations

She is M.Sc. Biochemistry from Karachi University and Executive MBA Marketing. She has a very long association with AGP Limited.


A highly efficient, methodical and talented Quality Operation head, having approx. 25 years’ experience of Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Production Department. Possessing a good understanding of the essential of Safety and Quality, strong customer service experience and background of achievement in supporting all level of management.

Mr. Sajid Qadeer – Head of Supply Chain

He is a Certified Management Accountant from IMA (USA) and SAP Certified MM Consultant, with an experience of over 18 years in Finance, Supply Chain and ERP implementation.


Prior to his placement in Commercial department, he was responsible for Management Reporting, Budgeting and Controlling in Finance.


He has developed a comprehensive understanding of the key business processes and the accounting and internal control systems in pharmaceutical sector.

Mr. Shahzaib Tariq – Head of Internal Audit

He is a Chartered Accountant from ICAP.  Prior to his association with AGP, he worked for Bank AL Habib Limited and KPMG Taseer Hadi & Co. for a period of 11 years.


He has a wide exposure of statutory and internal audits, reviews of internal control over financial reporting, risk reviews and risk assessment of critical audit areas and compliance of corporate governance and regulatory as well as accounting frameworks.
