AGP collaborates with Childlife Foundation on Children’s Day 2023

At AGP, we believe in nurturing the health of every child with happiness. This Children’s Day, we are thrilled to embark on a journey to give back & spread smiles.

We celebrated this children’s day in collaboration with Child-life Foundation and distributed gifts among kids of Emergency Room (ERs) at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital to brighten the day of our young superheroes. This initiative was a small gesture with big impact, aiming to make their stay healthy and joyful.

Diwali

Promoting diversity and inclusion, our organization celebrated the colors of life and the spirit of togetherness by distributing sweets amongst our Hindu colleagues on the occasion of the Diwali Festival.

Financial Wellness Workshop (Oraan)

Our organization conducted a Financial Wellness Workshop in partnership with Oraan for our female employees to educate them on fund management and maximizing the value of their earnings.

Career Spark

The OBS Group participated at multiple career fairs at some of the leading universities including Karachi University Pharmacy Department and IBA. It was a great opportunity to bridge the gap between academia and the corporate world.

We welcomed students to the Career Spark enclosure at the fairs where they were able to share their profiles, get counselling from our business teams and seek guidance on how to improve their CVs.

Career Spark was an all-inclusive and holistic experience for the students and participants. And we hope we can continue to make similar positive impact in the future.

We are pleased to announce our partnership with Santex Products (Pvt.) Limited.

It is our staunch belief that every female has the right to practice good hygiene and improve their wellbeing. And hence we believe in providing ease and comfort to our female colleagues by making sanitary napkins accessible in times of emergencies by introducing sanitary napkin dispensers in our workplace restrooms.

Our female workforce deserves to feel empowered, and we must keep striving to reduce challenges for them to ensure a happy productive workforce.

World Health Day

As part of continuous improvement and capability building of our valued employees, the EHS Team delivered comprehensive theoretical and simulation based trainings to commemorate World Day for Health & Safety at Work.

Like earlier Partnerships, we aim to enlighten healthcare practitioners, patients, and the general public about the significance of maintaining a healthy gut and how it can affect our overall health and well-being, along with how Probiotics can play a significant role in a medicine free remedy to Gut Health Issues; especially Diarrhea.

Employee Wellness

There is nothing more important than the health and well-being of our employees and their families. We know that many of our employees are looking for easy, attainable ways to enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and we are committed to helping them reach their personal goals.

Health information may be widely available, but also sometimes contradictory, and most people don’t have time to sort through it all. To help, we invited the highly revered Dr Farah Essa Zaidi to conduct a session on Employee Wellness tailored to our company’s needs served as a starting point to help our employees prioritize the most important aspects of physical and mental health.

Blood Donation

Our company in collaboration with The Indus Hospital, joined forces to organize a remarkable blood drive.

This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and mobilize the community to support The Indus Hospital’s life-saving cause.

Summer Fiesta

Our organization recently joined hands with ConnectHear to conduct a meaningful internal session for our employees to commemorate Deaf Awareness Month.

The participants received training on using language that aligns with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles and received introductory lessons in sign language as part of our efforts to promote awareness and sensitivity.

AGP continues partnership with IBA

AGP has continued its partnership with Institute of Business Administration (IBA) to provide quality education to promising students by extending its annual scholarship fund for deserving IBA students.

AGP and IBA had come together in May 2021 to establish the annual scholarship fund. The MOU was signed by Nusrat Munshi, MD & CEO of AGP, and Dr. S. Akbar Zaidi, Executive Director of IBA. Through this initiative, the Company is supporting IBA to make university education accessible to deserving students.

AGP continued its partnership with Ayesha Chundrigar Foundation (ACF) Animal Rescue to play its part in ensuring coexistence of humans and other living creatures.

Through this partnership, AGP will providing essential support to ACF’s Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Release/Relocate (TNVR) program for conducting mass vaccination and neutering of stray dogs.
