Each gram of Doxiproct Plus ointment contains
- Calcium Dobesilate…………40 mg
- Lidocaine HCl……………… 20 mg
- Dexamethasone Acetate… 0.25 mg
Description:
Doxiproct Plus is a topical rectal ointment primarily used to treat internal and external hemorrhoids, anal fissures, and related perianal conditions.
Indications:
Doxiproct Plus is used to treat internal and external hemorrhoids, proctitis, rectal itching, inflammation of the anal and perineal area, acute thrombotic hemorrhoids or anal fissures, and also pre- and postoperatively in the case of hemorrhoidectomy
Dosage:
For Adults only:
The ointment is applied 2 to 3 times daily in the anus (morning and evening before bedtime), preferably after a bowel movement. In the case of external hemorrhoids and inflammation of the anus, the ointment is applied in a thin layer several times a day.
